Westpac customer teams stand ready to provide emergency assistance to customers affected by flooding in parts of Queensland and New South Wales.

Emergency assistance available:
Customers affected with Westpac home loans can request to defer repayments for up to three months.
Affected credit card customers can request a deferral of refunds on their card for up to 90 days.
Affected customers wishing to purchase replacement goods can apply for a personal loan at a reduced interest rate with no set-up fees.
Westpac will forgo interest rate adjustments for affected customers wishing to withdraw term deposits.
Affected customers in difficulty may also be offered a suspension of all accrued interest on unsecured credit products for a period of up to three months.
Customers affected with Westpac commercial loans can request to defer repayments for up to three months.
Businesses affected with existing loans can apply for a loan restructuring without incurring the usual banking fees.
Affected business customers with merchant facilities are eligible to receive support, including monthly terminal access fee waivers for a period of up to three months.
