National Bank of Punjab launches cardless cash withdrawal facility
State-owned Punjab National Bank (PNB) on Tuesday launched a cardless cash withdrawal service for its customers along with a virtual debit card to mark its founding day.
Apart from cardless cash withdrawal and virtual debit cards, the bank has launched a range of other selected digital services on its mobile app named PNB One for secure banking transactions, it said in a statement.
The bank celebrated its 128th founding day on Tuesday.
The new services were launched by Atul Kumar Goel, MD and CEO of PNB, at the bank here in the presence of the Executive Directors – Vijay Dube, Swarup Kumar Saha and Kalyan Kumar, and other officials.
“With the financial sector on a solid path to recovery, PNB is experiencing robust growth. With this, PNB is redefining its commitment to digital transformation by introducing a plethora of innovative offerings,” Goel said.
He said the bank’s renewed emphasis on employees as an asset, customer focus and strong focus on lending activities will play a vital role in its sustainable growth.
PNB has launched various digital initiatives such as Insta personal loan for retirees, ASBA (Application Supported by Blocked Amount) installation on PNB One app, PNB 360 information portal for employees, Trade Finance Redefined portal and collection of EMI loans through Bharat Bill Pay.
