Adam Hinshelwood’s Worthing starts the day four points clear at the top but, while Neil Cugley’s men are eight points behind the favorites in fifth, they are two games behind.

Looking ahead to the match at Woodside Road, Cugley said: “Worthing are a good team.

“I’m sure they will try to get revenge (Invicta having won 3-1 on the first day of the season), and they have a good manager.

“There has been a lot of investment in Worthing over the past few years and I’m sure they will expect to come into the National League South.”

Asked if he thought the match would have big ramifications in terms of the title race, Cugley added: “Yes and no.

“There is still a long way to go, I think we are only halfway through the season.

“There will be a lot of twists and turns, and I’m sure the teams around us will get stronger – and I’m sure they’ll all take points from each other.

“But it’s definitely a big game.”

Cugley has confirmed that Wanadio is available for their match at Worthing.
